Hello, Thank you for stopping by I would like to tell you a little bit about Darswinkle's Delights. My name is DaNel Resha and I own Darswinkle's Delights. I've been asked how I came up with the name many many times. Well, here is the story. I used to date a guy that was living with his brother and sister in-law. I called over there one day and told her to tell him that DaNel called. She wrote down that Darnella called. So he used to tease me about it and one day when he was teasing me and calling me Darnella his friend (who is a very big guy) said, "She is not a Darnella. She is a Darswinkle." So it stuck. I was from that point forward nick named Darswinkle. It was sometimes shortened to Swinkle or Swink. When I had been downsized from a job I loved in 2000 I used a friends wholesale account to purchase things to sell at the local Flea Market. In 2001 I decided to get my own Wholesale account and open a gift party business. I stil every now and then set up at the flea markets since that is where I started. At this time I focus on Gift Parties and Internet sales.

Darswinkle's Delights is a debt free business that has been open since January 2001 and will not be closing it's doors any time soon. We take pride in offering a great service at a discounted retail price. Our Open House Reps will always have us for support to make their business grow.

I opened Darswinkle's Delights in January of 2001 after being downsized from a job that I loved. I started out by giving Home Parties and setting up at Flea Markets. In June 2001 I opened an online store. I try to update the website often but we are always open to suggestions on how our website can better help you our customer.

We are located in Murfreesboro Tennessee which is not far from the exact geographic center of Tennessee. I have lived in Tennessee all of my life and wouldn't live anywhere else. I have mostly lived in Middle Tennessee but I did live in West Tennessee for a few years during college. I'm just 20 minutes from Nashville and we are home to the Parthenon and the The Worlds Largest Cedar Bucket. If you like hiking, camping, boating, or even caving then Tennessee is a good place to be.

I would love to help you with all your home decorating and gift giving needs. I try to have something for everyone because everyone likes something different. Our Catalogs have our full line and I highly suggest their purchase for the ease of browsing at your own pace. I am currently working on getting all items online. At this time Darswinkle's Delights is strictly an online shopping and home party business with a great Home Party Business for anyone that wants to sell our items from home to earn some extra income. We pride ourself in having a no pressure policy and we never pressure our reps or our customers into purchasing items.

One of the main goals at Darswinkle's Delights is making our customers have the best shopping experience they can have. We will help you pick out gifts for others, items to redecorate your home or office, and make you feel like family while doing so. I've loved animals all my life. I've especially loved horses since I was a little girl. If you had looked in a dictionary next to the words Horse Crazy my picture was there. I got my first horse at the age of twelve and I've not been without a horse since then. When it was time to go to college I studied "Horse Science" at MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University). After college I stil worked non horse related jobs. (Most of my business type jobs were in the Quality Control Departments) When I was between jobs or just needed a little extra money I would work for Domino's Pizza delivering Pizza. Many people don't know it but it is good money. I currently work for Domino's two nights a week while running my horse boarding business. I am the happiest now that I have ever been. I have my horse business that I went to school for and a wonderful significant other that loves, supports me and my business, and great friends and family. They say that when you love what you do it never seems like work. Farm work is always work. But the horse part never feels like work.

In addition to loving animals I enjoy reading, cross stitch, online gaming, along with watching movies. I enjoy many types of movies but I am not really interested in War Movies. I do not like watching sports on TV so all you sports fans please don't hold that against me. Tell me what team you want to win and I will cheer them on for you. But I won't actually sit and watch the game. lol

I am an animal lover and my animals are my children. Currently I have five horses, four cats, and two sugar gliders. In the past I have owned dogs, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, snakes, iguanas, and chinchillas. I am very passionate about animals and will be adding some animal products to the business in the future.

I have a small horse boarding facility and I really enjoy being around other horse people. If you need horse boarding or riding lessons please get in touch with me. If you live in the middle Tennessee area and have horses let's get together and go trail riding.

I have been studding the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Program for the past few years. I feel that it is a great way to work with horses. I know that not everyone agrees with this. That is ok too. I'm not one to put anyone down for what they do or not do unless they are harming the horse. If I see anyone harming a horse I will step forward and voice my opinion. I will like someone for who they are and how they treat me.
